requirements。On April 30, 2005 ON Semiconductor shipping container standard shipping labels for lead (Pb) free plated devices will incorporate the JEDEC, JESD97 lead free symbology. NO Pb symbol 2LI, meaning no lead (Pb) at the second (2nd) level interconnect, will be printed onall ON Semiconductor standard shipping labels. The ON Semiconductor shipping verificationlabel will incorporate the lead (Pb) free symbology and text on July 15. On July 15, 2005 ON Semiconductor will be changing the lead (Pb)free designator for intermediate container labels to the JEDEC, JESD97 symbology, NO Pb symbol 2LI. During this change and for some time after, the current designator, Pb FREE PLTG text, may still appear onintermediate labels. By July 2006 lead (Pb) free categories will be added to the suffix of NO (Pb) symbol 2LI. The JESD97 categories of e1 through e7 state the type of interconnect plating. The ON Semiconductor shipping and intermediate container labels lead (Pb) free plateddevices will be NO Pb symbol 2LI (e3) where the e3 may change to an e1 through e7category, depending upon the device plating scheme.April 2005
